This Zip file includes FBX format files for many of the Max files in Chapter 7:
Un-zip the file into the "import" folder of your project, and import into 3ds Max/Design 2009 and earlier. The latest FBX plugin is required. Please note that the lights do not transfer correctly - they are Standard - and materials and modifiers may not be correct. This file is provided as a convenience to readers of earlier versions of the software.
About the FBX Plugin
Please note that you will need the latest FBX plugin, version 2011.2 or newer, which is available for multiple versions of 3ds Max/Design at: Note that there are different versions of the plugin for 3ds Max and 3ds Max Design.
